hey guys long time no write..oops sorry
anyway im back at uni today its 9am to 9pm...argggghhhh im already exhausted.
so im sure you've all heard of those wisdom tooth horror stories. so i figured i'd tell mine step by step to hopefully put you at ease if you need yours out :)
so first of all my wisdom teeth have been bugging me for ages about a year or so...like they would randomly hurt all along my jaw :( depressing..anyway so dentist finally decides shes gonna take them out.. YAY FOR THAT!!!!
so i get to the dentist.....
first of all they did a little filling that needed to be redone without any anaesthetic. it didnt hurt at all :)
ok onto wisdom teeth. first of all they have to totally numb you..so bassically the same as any filling. except two injections where they have to numb from the roof of your mouth. uncomfortable yes painful no. and arghhhhh it tastes sooooo gross. thought i was gonna be sick. but i wasnt :)
ok so they check everythings completely numb. i had to get a few more injections..dont be afraid to ask for more if you can feel anything at all!!!!! so she starts....with my upper right... she gets pliar things i think i wasnt looking. and gets the other person in the room to hold my head in position. she gets hold of the tooth and just pushess for about 2 minutes. and then she says its out...i was like woaaaaaah that was easy. i felt no pain at all just pressure... now onto the left tooth which had a little infection so it was way harder to numb. she did the same thing just pushed but she had to wiggle this one around a bit it took about twice as long around 10 minutes..no pain again...
so then i had gauze in my mouth.. arggggh..the appointment was meant to take an hour and a half took around 20min. so then i just phoned mum to pick me up :)
make sure you have painkillers on hand at home. because when the numbness wears off owwwwwwwwwwwwww. i had nurofen...and like half a panadeine...
the worst thing is not being able to eat especially if you have two out on opposite sides.cause u cant chew on either side grrrr.
well its day 5 now and i can eat like anything at the moment. YAY. i have a tiny bit of jaw pain but nothing compared to what is was before the teeth got pulled.
it really isnt that big of a deal as people make it out to be.... so relax =D
ok im going to bed. im exhausted from uni already and have another early start...oooooh on the plus side i lost 1.2kg in the last 2 weeks =D
